A VMware Cloud Foundation environment is updated using Update Bundles which are released on a frequent basis.

The inbuilt automation for updating and patching the full stack within SDDC Manager allows customers to easily and non-disruptively maintain their Cloud Foundation deployment to the latest component software versions with full piece of mind in knowing that all components have been pre-validated and tested to work together.

Another advantage of this is that customers can leverage an increasingly broad set of new capabilities which are released into the component products which make up a Cloud Foundation private cloud.

This chart above highlights just some of the new features, capabilities and points of integration which have been released since VCF 4.0 was released.
This presentation will cover what is new and what has been enhanced with the VCF 5.0 release.

Notes:

This is not a comprehensive list of every new VCF feature included in each VCF release.  Each new VCF release has included new enhancements which are too lengthy to list on a single slide.
